Agreed- Every small act creates big impact!
⏳ It may feel early… but as we all know, time moves fast!
We know summer hasn’t even started yet — and we promise we’re not trying to rush it! ☀️ But a lot of planning goes into the first few months of school, so we’re starting to gather interest for next year’s PTA committees now (and then we’ll let everyone enjoy their summer).
Next year we’ll have a few committees led by board members:
✨ Family Engagement – fun events like popsicles at the playground, movie nights, the dance, and more
💰 Fundraising – giving campaign, restaurant nights, community donations
📣 Grants + Advocacy – grant writing, partnering with Delaware PTA, and supporting Lombardy families
🍎 Staff Appreciation – treats, monthly snacks, and staff appreciation week
🎉 Membership – raffles, contests, and building school community
The most important thing to know: joining a committee does NOT mean you have to volunteer or take on responsibilities.
It simply means you’re interested and want to stay in the loop. If something fits your schedule, great! If not, that’s totally okay.
Signing up just makes sure you receive information about upcoming activities and opportunities.
