Thread City Classical Dance offers high quality dance training at fantastically affordable rates! Dance is, at its core, an expression of vitality.

At Thread City Classical Dance, students learn that a star is not the only important person in a production. Our dancers learn that with attention comes responsibility. A dancer may be a star in one dance and part of a group in the next. Ballet performance is not the work of an individual; it is a community that works together. We believe dance is an art, not a competition. In classical arts, by reaching for ideals we draw ourselves up further, carefully refining each technique and understanding its underlying structures. Technique cannot be bought, only earned by hard work and careful self discipline. We believe there is value in studying any art for its own sake, regardless of one’s ultimate achievement; therefore, we welcome all sizes, shapes, abilities and ambitions. We further believe that access to dance training should not be limited by family income. Our program goal is to be affordable for all; in addition, sponsorships will be sought to provide scholarships for those students who could not otherwise participate. We believe ballet enhances everyone’s life.

🩰 Have a young dancer who’s ready to take their ballet training to the next level?

Our Foundation A ballet class on Mondays is a wonderful fit for young dancers who are focused, eager to learn, and interested in more serious ballet study.

With an emphasis on strong technique, proper placement, musicality, and developing good habits from the start, this class helps motivated young dancers build the skills and confidence they need to grow as artists. ✨

Whether your dancer dreams of advancing in ballet or simply loves the challenge of learning and improving, Foundation A offers a supportive environment where dedication and hard work can flourish.
