Labor Day Sunday: Majors Paul and Kathleen Knickerbocker -
The refrain of "Happy Song" was our Sunday morning greeting at 316 Pleasant Street, The Salvation Army Willimantic, on Sunday morning.

Major Paul Knickerbocker shared insights as to why we and how we should labor......."Labor for Christ" - opening question; do you love your job? Do we labor out of obligation / satisfaction / joy and gratitude? "Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest......So that all men He has made may know His Work, he stops every man from his labor. Then man goes out to his work, to his labor until evening". Ex. 34:21; Cor. 15:58
"Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain"
A shift of attitude might reveal that (1) everyday work is a service to God; (2) An ordinary daily effort can lead to an extraordinary result; (3) your work can be a ministry and your ministry could be at your work......refences in the comments....."Don't brag, don't nag, don't lag"! Be ready for the work that you are placed in to do.
