The National Women's Studies Association “has failed to center the work of women's centers professionals, the frontline practitioners of feminism in the academy and so often those who carry the burden of translating women's and gender theory into action for and alongside students,”
~Helfrich and Sholock

Women's studies scholars object to professional association's new stance on representation from women's centers workers.

". . . all men would find some work to be done if they looked inwards."

My title is meant to be satrical but I fully believe that my writing would gain more traction with folks if I did adopt messaging along the lines of the title. It seems to me that there is a decent-sized market for men who position themselves as experts on dating and other gendered phenomena, and w...

"You can only expect your audience to be as BRAVE, OPEN, and ALIVE as you are."

If you think of the "audience" as your peers, I'd say this is a quote that can be applied to your everyday life.

The “rules” and maschismo that so many boys learn early in life has created a stifling idea of what it means to be a man. But we don’t need to be bound by these narrow ideas, writes Carlos Andrés Gómez.

Get rid of the boogeyman ra**st archetype. Campus safety guidelines that continually focus on stranger r**e are highly problematic. Yes stranger assaults occur, but that is not who is overwhelmingly responsible for sexual assault on college campuses or elsewhere. (photo: Students Active for Ending R**e)
