Select members of the Loyalsock Township Middle School 7/8th Grade Band traveled to Susquehanna University to prepare for our October 27th Spooktacular Concert. Students were treated to a tour of the campus, ate dinner at the dining facility, observed SU's Wind Ensemble rehearse, under the direction of Dr. Hinton, and rehearsed with Mr. Hosterman and the SU River Hawk Stadium Band to prepare our Spooktacular Finale concert music! Thank you to SU's Music Department for hosting us; we look forward to you joining us in two weeks!

Join us for an afternoon of great music making! This weekend, Saturday, October 17, 2026 at 1:30p is the annual Loyalsock Township HS Cavalcade of Bands competition!

We will be welcoming 9 high school bands in competition, with a special performance by the Bloomsburg University marching band!

50/50, basket raffles, and concessions will all be available throughout the event.

We hope to see you there!

You can see them in action TONIGHT at the first home football game! Catch their pregame performance around 6:40p, then hype up the football team in the stands!! 🏈

These scholarships, funded by our LTSD Elementary Band Boosters through our annual discount card fundraiser, will help support private instruction as these students move forward in our instrumental program. 🎵
