Time is running out to help the kiddos of our community.... Alabaster Coffee has a special Community Tap beverage as well as a coffee blend to purchase for home brewing. This offer is thru the end of June....a dollar from each purchase helps our club support the children in our community with scholarships and much more.

Today, one of our members bought a bag of the Community Blend and it smelled soooo goood that she couldn’t wait to brew it at home knowing that she is supporting our local youth.

Kiwanis Club of Williamsport - Saturday - June 13, 2026: "2026 Soapbox Derby Day" on Market Street in Williamsport, PA.
Successful and beautiful day for the "youth soapbox drivers" and their families and community.
Thank you to Mike Barclay and his leadership and dedication to this "American Tradition and Endeavor".
Kiwanis Williamsport provided "support and service" with the "Burger Burn" stand located at Market and Ross Streets.
Thank you for Jenn Rempe for her spirit and administrative preparation, with her American Rescue Workers" colleagues "Shane and AJ" for the total setup and the "grill work" with delicious burgers and hot dogs.
We started off with a surprise visit - Sam and Dawn Astin - they participated in the "opening ceremony" and visited our Kiwanis tent.
Kiwanis Members helping at the "Burger Burn" stand: Peter Wallace, Chris Wallace, Janet Santini, Jim Frey, Sally Butterfield, Wayne Fausnaught, Ralph Zeigler, Jenn Rempe, and Jack Houston.
Special thanks and recognition to the members of the Loyalsock High School - "Key Club" - Senri, Addi, Taylor, and Hannon - they provided the facilitation of the food orders for the "Soapbox Derby Workers" - taking the orders at the top of the derby hill, and at the bottom finish life of the hill - taking orders and delivering the food, refreshments and waters throughout the day. Thank you Key Club.
Overall, a unique and inspiring Soapbox Derby day filled with happiness, sharing, admiration, and recognition of the "young drivers" and their superior effort for the fun of "gravity cars" in the sunshine of American authentic competition.
