I will be posting the pictures from the kids fishing derby in the next few days. The winner for the Biggest Trout was Rowen Sensing who caught a 16 3/4 inch Rainbow Trout. Please post any pictures you would like to share on our page. Look for more pictures coming soon.

Thank's to all of those who volunteered to help at our derby it was a great success with 186 children registered to fish. It would not be possible to pull it off without you . And a big thank you to Chuckie and Marie for allowing us to have our derby at the Squarewood Acres Campground .And thank's to all that donated prizes and money.

Happening this Saturday June 6th

Our 24th annual kids fishing derby is less than 2 weeks away. It will be held June 6th. Below is the registration form along with with derby rules and time schedules. You can print out this form and bring it with you to the derby or you can register your child when you get there. The derby takes place at Squarewood Acres Campground. It is located at the intersection of Route 14 and Pleasant Stream Road. Please obey any of the signs that are posted by the campground.

We will have food and beverages available for purchase. We will also be selling raffle and 50/50 tickets. Bait will also be available.

After the derby is over the stream will be closed for approximately 45 minutes to allow us to remove the barricades and clean up the area. We will give the All Clear when we’re done.

Saturday May 30th, we’re having a work day at the nursery. Meet at 8am. We need to clean out some of the raceways, check some equipment and get things ready for our kids derby on June 6th.
Come out and lend a hand if you can.

We would like to thank everyone who came out in the last few months to help at our nursery. We were able to get a few projects done including replacing all the frames and screens covering the raceways.
We had volunteers to help with the fish which included grading, tagging and stocking.
Thanks to all of you who came out to help stocking with the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission. We couldn’t do it without you.
Coming up on June 6th is our kids derby. If anyone would like to volunteer for an hour or so we would appreciate it.
We greatly appreciated all our volunteers and we thank you very much!
