🐾 **MEET REX — BETTER KNOWN AS FARO!** 🐾

At 11 years old, Faro is ready to trade shelter life for something every senior dog deserves: a loving **retirement home of his very own.** ❤️

Don’t let that distinguished gray muzzle fool you — this handsome, spotty gentleman is actually a **total goofball!** 😂 Faro is fully house-trained, fully vetted, neutered, and ready to spend his golden years making his forever family laugh with his silly antics and big, goofy expressions.

He’s also a social guy! Faro has successfully lived with **dogs, cats, and even chickens**, and he loves being around his people. He does have some separation anxiety, which is currently well-managed with daily medication. Because of this, Faro cannot be crated or confined to a room by himself. He does best with people who are home most of the time and who will let him happily snooze on his favorite dog bed when they need to step away.

And while Faro may be a senior, he still has plenty of pep! He can be a wonderfully energetic and jumpy goofball on walks, so his silly side is always ready to make an appearance. 🥰

His ideal retirement home would be a peaceful one **without young children**, where he can enjoy a predictable routine, plenty of companionship, cozy naps, and all the love he's been waiting for.

Faro has so much love left to give. He may be 11, but his heart is still full of joy, silliness, and devotion. ❤️

🏡❤️ **ADOPTION UPDATE: WINSTON!** ❤️🏡

Just look at this happy boy! Winston has officially settled into his forever home, and according to his new dad, you’d think he’s been part of the family for years! 🥹🐾

Winston has met his energetic match with his two young human sisters, and he’s loving every minute of his new family life. And when playtime is over? Winston won’t settle for anything less than ALL the pets and cuddles! 🥰

His new dad says it best:

We couldn’t be happier to see Winston so loved, so spoiled, and exactly where he belongs. ❤️

Our elves have been hard at work curating beautiful gift baskets for this year’s event! Thanks to our Auxiliary volunteers and generous community members, we’ll have 75 baskets ready for you to explore on Saturday, November 21, at Bruton Parish Hall.

On National Cat Day, we’re celebrating a HUGE adoption success! 🎉

Evander - one of our longest-resident kitties and a special medical case - has been adopted! His new mom was over the moon to bring this wonderful guy home, and we couldn’t be happier for them.

A heartfelt thank-you to our friends at Point 5 Williamsburg for sponsoring Evander’s adoption fee, his first month of medication, and his special medical food. And thank you to Evander’s mom for paying it forward to help other pets still waiting for their forever homes.

Way to go, Evander! We’re so grateful for the caring village that makes happy endings like this possible. 🐾💛

🐱❤️ **HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY!** ❤️🐱

Today is the purr-fect day to celebrate all things feline—and we have a LOT of cats to celebrate! 🐾

Right now, we have **131 cats in our care**, with **36 sweet cats currently available for adoption** and waiting for their chance to find a family of their own. 🏡❤️

Two of those cats are **Harvest, Kentucky Rumbler and Zara**, who are pictured here! These beautiful kitties are ready to meet their people and start the next chapter of their lives. 🥰

Every cat who comes through our doors has their own personality, quirks, and story. Some are playful, some are cuddly, some are independent, and some are convinced that they are the ones running the household. 😹 But they all have one thing in common: **they deserve a loving forever home.**

This National Cat Day, consider celebrating by adding a little more purr to your life. Stop by and meet our available cats, share their photos with your friends, or help spread the word about the cats still waiting for their forever families. 🐾

Thor had quite the adventure today at Williamsburg's Radio Station FM 93.5 The Burg & WMBG AM 740! He hopped right into the car, settled in to watch the world go by, and greeted everyone at the station like an old friend. He even tried to lend Greg Martin a paw at the sound board during his interview!

Thor is a 9-year-old German Shepherd with plenty of fun puppy energy. He’s neutered, well-mannered, patient, and ready to meet his person. Thor needs to be the only pet in the home, and we’re hoping you’ll help us find the right match for this wonderful boy.

🐾 **Meet Milo!** 🐾

Milo is a 2.5-year-old mixed breed boy who is neutered, fully vetted, and ready to find his forever home! ❤️

This handsome guy is **curious, affectionate, and happiest when he's with his people.** Milo loves nothing more than hanging out on the couch, cuddling up, and soaking up all the love he can get. 🥰

He's also a fantastic walking buddy! Milo is **amazing on leash** and loves going for long walks where he can stop and sniff everything along the way. 🐶🌳

Milo is smart and eager to learn, too! He's been working on his crate training and is learning to go to his crate when asked. During a recent outing to Jamestown Island, Milo showed off his excellent "good boy" skills. He patiently sat while adults were talking, responded appropriately when spoken to, and didn't jump or bark. He enjoyed exploring, sniffing, walking, and then relaxing in the car on the ride home. Talk about a perfect adventure buddy! 💙

Milo is currently **in foster care**, so he isn't available for walk-in meet-and-greets. If you'd like to meet this sweet boy and see if he's the perfect addition to your family, **please give us a call to schedule a meeting with Milo!** 📞
