Hike the Big View trail, September 18, 11:00 am

Owners Phil and Diane Merritt along with the Williamsburg Woodland Trails Committee, invite you to join us for a celebratory hike and picnic lunch at the Big View trail on Sunday September 18th at 11:00. The total distance is approximately 2 miles over moderate terrain with some climbing. Appropriate footwear is recommended. Bring your lunch, hike up the hill, and enjoy the Big View while learning about this trail and the surrounding protected area.

Due to the typically large turnout on group hikes, we ask that you please leave your dog(s) at home.

Location: From Rt. 9 in Williamsburg Center, Take South St. and go about 1 mile to Unquomonk Rd. on the right. Park at the trailhead approximately ¼ mile up on the left.

P.S. The Williamsburg Woodland Trails Committee is seeking two new members. If you are a Williamsburg resident and would like to learn more, please contact Paul Jahnige, [email protected].
