A 63-year-old man. Two children. Ages 9 and 6.
He admitted it.
He's sitting in Wichita County Jail right now on $200,000 bond, because detectives showed up, did the work, and didn't look away.
This is why we train. This is why ORC exists.
The threat to children isn't theoretical. It lives on Avenue M. It lives next door. It lives inside homes where children should be safe.
Our job, and the job of every operator, advocate, and detective in this fight, is to make sure predators face consequences.

The children needed someone to stand up. They did.

Today, Supervisory Special Agent Christopher Maffei, who is assigned to the Fort Worth Resident Agency, spoke to NBC 5's Deborah Ferguson. He discussed the results of Operation Wolf Pack, which focused on actioning cyber tips from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. Together with the Fort Worth Police Department, the Operation resulted in the arrest of 15 subjects for Possession, Receipt, and Distribution of Child Po*******hy.
