We’re grateful to see the impact of the WFACF Volunteer Fire Department Grant Cycle highlighted in our community!

Through this grant cycle, more than $100,000 was awarded to 12 volunteer fire departments across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, helping provide critical equipment, training, and resources for the volunteers who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.

The Community Foundation was proud to award a $7,500 grant to the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank through the Fund for the Wichita Falls Area Grant Cycle.

The funding helped implement a new digital data collection system that streamlines food distribution efforts and provides valuable insights into the needs of neighbors experiencing food insecurity. The project also helped a community partner transition to a choice pantry model, allowing families to select the foods that best meet their needs.

Last night, our team had the opportunity to attend the opening reception for the Janet Campbell Watercolor Exhibit at the Wichita County Courthouse Third Floor Gallery.

Thank you to the Wichita County Commissioners Court, the Museum of North Texas History, and the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture for partnering to bring this showcase to our community!
