Sweet Prince passed away yesterday. We are heartbroken. Prince was surrendered to Good Karma Puppy Rescue months ago. While waiting for him be adopted, he became a part of our family. We are so happy he lived out his last months with us in a loving home surrounded by people and pups who adored and cherished him.

If love could be measured, Twila would have an endless supply to give. This beautiful 2-year-old tortie mix has earned the title of Mother of the Year many times over.

Twila was found caring for two kittens of her own. When tragedy struck and another mama cat passed away, she immediately welcomed those two orphaned babies as her own. Then, just a week later, she did it again—taking in two more orphaned kittens without hesitation.

She lovingly raised six kittens, nursing them whenever they needed her, grooming them, teaching them how to play, and giving them all the comfort and security only a devoted mama can provide. Her patience, kindness, and nurturing spirit are truly remarkable.

Now it’s Twila’s turn.

She deserves a forever home where she can finally be the one receiving all the love and attention she’s spent so freely giving to others. Twila is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and absolutely stunning with her unique tortoiseshell coat.

Because she’s spent so much time focused on raising babies, it’s been difficult to fully evaluate how she feels about other cats and dogs. We believe that once she’s had time away from motherhood to decompress and simply be a cat again, she’ll continue to blossom into the amazing companion she’s meant to be.
