Given the current health crisis, we are suspending all future meetings until this resolves. In the future, we'll be back @ the Bass Pro Shop store at Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills. We'll be kickin' and scratchin' some ideas around for wild pheasants, habitat improvements, and wildlife conservation.
Food and drinks provided. Be safe and hunker down. We hope to see you all soon!

While we didn’t get enough participants to have a Tower shoot on April 6 at Muzzy's Pheasant Farm, thirteen members of the Oakland Country Chapter got together for a hunt! 43 pheasants were taken and a great day was had by all!

Pheasants Forever Oakland County Chapter will be putting on a tower shoot Saturday 4/6. Details below!

Saturday April 6th at Muzzy Pheasant Farm at 1210 N Durand Rd, Corunna, MI 48817

Arrive BY 9:00am

Cost is $250.00 Per shooter Maximum 30 shooters

$250.00 Includes

1. One year membership to Pheasants forever
2. Continental Breakfast
3. One door prize ticket per shooter
4. Clay pigeon practice shooting
5. Hay ride out to the tower hunt
6. Tower shoot/10 birds released per shooter
7. Catered lunch
8. Drawing for door prizes
9. Included but optional walk the fields hunt for missed birds
10. Bird cleaning and lite packaging for ride home

This farm has a 30 shooter max. So the tower hunt is a first come served event for (youth ,men and lades)
If we have more then 30 shooters respond. We will hold another tower hunt in the fall with the extra shooters put on the schedule first.

Reminder!

Our next chapter meeting is TONIGHT, Tuesday February 26th at 7 pm. Come and meet our chapter members.

The meeting will be held in the event room at Bass Pro Shops in Auburn Hills. The room is in the rear of the store near the gun counter and restrooms.

Pheasants Forever Oakland Chapter held a Pollinator Event at Holly Elementary School and the Holly Recreation Area in northern Oakland County on Nov. 8, 2018.

The 4th and 5th grade students of Holly Elementary School were a courteous and attentive audience. Hopeful they will take away some new knowledge and appreciation of wildlife and wildlife habitat. The students now have a better understanding of the importance of proper habitat for wild pheasants, monarch butterflies, honey bees and indeed many other wildlife species.
