At the heart of White Lake Police Foundation is our commitment to our kids. Building on a wonderful suggestion from Board Member Todd Miller, we are thrilled to announce the return of our Winter Break Backpack Program! Now in its second year, we delivered over 60 backpacks filled with food to local schools, and we are proud to keep this new tradition alive, ensuring our students have the support they need during the holiday season."

This week, our annual Shop with a Cop events were a tremendous success, fostering positive connections between our officers and local students. It was an honor for our personnel to spend the day shopping, wrapping gifts, and engaging with such a wonderful group of children. We extend our sincere gratitude to White Lake Meijer and Walmart for their critical support, and to every dedicated volunteer who made this impactful event possible. It was an exciting and impactful week! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community and business partners—Mulligan's Heating & Cooling, Szott Auto Group, JW Restoration Concepts, and St. Pat's Knights of Columbus — the White Lake Police Foundation successfully completed its annual winter gear distribution! We outfitted nearly 150 students at Dublin, Houghton, Keith, Lakewood, and Oxbow Elementary Schools with brand new coats, snow pants, boots, hats, and gloves. A huge thank you to everyone who helped ensure these kids stay warm this winter! 🧤🧣❄️

We still have a few opens spots. Coming join us starting September 10th, 2025 at 6pm for the highly coveted White Lake Township Police Citizens Academy. This eleven week course meets for approximately three hours every Wednesday and provides instruction on all things related to the Police Department, Fire Department, and Township operations. The White Lake Police Foundation's 30th annual golf outing, our biggest fundraiser of the year, was a huge success last week! It was a fantastic day out on the course, and we're thrilled with the incredible support we received.

This event is vital for us, as it allows us to fund all the great programs we run throughout the year. We are incredibly grateful to every golfer who participated, the dedicated volunteers who helped everything run smoothly, and all of our generous sponsors. Your contributions made this fundraiser a monumental success once again!
