People's Resource Center Last year, PRC assisted nearly 25,000 low-income DuPage County residents, providing them with basic needs and programs to break the cycle of poverty.

Go to www.peoplesrc.org. Since 1975, People’s Resource Center has been bringing neighbors together to respond to hunger and poverty in DuPage County. With a team of over 2,600 volunteers, we offer nutritious food and other basic necessities like clothes and rent assistance for people facing tough times. We also connect people with resources—education and tutoring, jobs, technology, art, a caring community—to create a future of hope and opportunity for all.

It was a special joy to celebrate and honor St. Isidore Parish with PRC’s Outstanding Neighbor Award yesterday. St. Isidore has inspired a beautiful legacy of Neighbors helping Neighbors.

One of our first empowerment partner sites, this Bloomingdale congregation is now in its 22nd year of tutoring. They have brought neighbors together to share knowledge and strengthen language confidence with families from all across the globe. Thank you, St. Isidore Parish!

As part of his Eagle Scout project, Nicholas designed and built the racks to help us better organize and display bread for our neighbors. Thank you for putting your time and skills to work for PRC and our community!
