USFA's National Fire Academy has immediate vacancies for R0154 Safety Program Operations scheduled for January 10-15, 2027.

The 6-day course provides knowledge and practice in the context of current issues to develop strategies of risk management associated with the provision of firefighting and emergency medical services to reduce firefighter fatalities and injuries.

All training is at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD.

Fire Fighter II – 40 Hours

Course Description: This course is designed to meet the job performance requirements of NFPA 1010. Students will learn advanced fundamentals of firefighting skills through this course which will combine lecture-based learning with intense practical application including live fire training.
Prerequisites: FFI
Instructor: Brian Grieco
Special Equipment: Students must bring full PPE to include SCBA and a spare bottle. All students shall be clean shaven. Students must bring a copy of their FF I certificate on the first day of class.
