Having updated information helps us prepare our Christmas card list, gives us a better way to stay connected with one another, and helps us better understand and meet the needs of our church family. Your information can help us identify ways to encourage, support, and serve one another. ❤️

𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕

For the past 11 years, Mike Spangler has been part of the Hope’s Point Baptist Church family, faithfully serving in several areas of ministry. He currently serves as a Trustee, Deacon, and Adult Edify Group leader. He has also served in youth ministry in the past and has a heart for serving wherever he is needed.

Michael has been married to his wife, Kim, for 31 years. Together, they have three children: Emilee (Hunter), Makenna, and Owen.

He accepted Christ as his Savior during his middle school years at Fellowship Baptist Church.

One of his favorite things about Hope’s Point is the welcoming spirit of the church. He appreciates that people from all walks of life feel welcome,
that there are lots of kids and families, and that so many people have a genuine heart for ministry.

Outside of church and ministry, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, farming, riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and pretty much anything outdoors.

We are thankful for Mike’s faithful service, his willingness to serve, and the heart he has for our church family. We’re blessed to have Mike and Kim as part of our Hope’s Point family!
