In response to recent severe flash flooding, the Lewis County Community Foundation has launched the Lewis County Emergency Relief Fund with $20,000 in initial seed funding!

Now, we’re challenging our community to step up and help us expand these efforts. 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to local nonprofits providing frontline relief to affected residents and businesses.

During the session, they highlighted the scholarship opportunities available through community foundations across the state, helping connect more students with resources to achieve their educational goals.

Participants will learn fundamentals including:

▪️Writing a Strong Proposal
▪️Building Partnerships
▪️Developing a Budget
▪️Identifying Matching Funds
▪️Thinking Like a Reviewer
▪️Getting Grant Ready

No prior grant writing experience is required. There is no cost for the training, but registration is required and seats are limited.
