The Transformation Project is a recovery and reentry ministry that offers FREEDOM, HOPE, and TRANSFORMATION through Christian discipleship. ttpmaine.org

Successful transition back into society after lockup is not easy. Without any support or plan in place, many coming out of corrections are at risk for re-offending. Recidivism is a vicious cycle which leaves our communities broken, unsafe and disjointed. The Transformation Project’s mission is to minimize our 85% recidivism rate and to bring Maine communities together to support its members who have experienced incarceration by providing them, at no charge, a safe and positive supportive environment, and the opportunity for housing, employment, case management and mentorship. The Transformation Project (TTP) partners with Maine correctional facilities, churches, organizations, corporations, and volunteers to support offenders working to successfully reenter their community. TTP provides support via case management inside and outside of lockup, housing, and mentorship and educational programming. With the support of the community, TTP will create a sustainable, positive change within each individual life we serve. As TTP changes lives, communities are transformed.

A week ago yesterday, we gathered for our monthly Community Night, and what a special night it was!

David Libby shared an encouraging testimony of how God mercifully pursued him through years of wild living, faithfully drawing him into a life of steadfast devotion and service to our Lord and His people.

His story is a beautiful testament to the words of Proverbs 22:6: “train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

As a young child the word of God was planted in David’s heart, and throughout his life, the Spirit of God continued to water that seed through the words, prayers and encouragement of so many.

And now, to know David is to know a man who is BURSTING with the fruit of the Spirit! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

What a wonderful testimony!
And listening to David and Hank together felt like we were all eavesdropping on a conversation between two close friends and brothers in Christ who genuinely enjoy one another’s company and love sharing and testifying to the goodness of God in their lives.

So, so good!

🌟 Kingdom Builders Highlight 🌟

Marcel & Diane Veilleux

This month, we’re honored to recognize Marcel Veilleux. Marcel currently serves on our Board of Directors as Treasurer, but over the last several years, he has worn many hats and served The Transformation Project in countless ways.

From the time Marcel moved to Maine, he quickly became part of the family, community, and ministry of TTP. He brings a unique combination of wisdom, compassion, and Spirit-led counsel to the people around him. Through pastoral mentorship, wise guidance, and a willingness to simply be present, Marcel has invested deeply in the lives of many of the men we serve.

Marcel has a gift for keeping us on our knees and keeping prayer at the center of everything we do, continually reminding us that this ministry belongs to God and that we need His direction every step of the way.

Marcel is also never afraid to roll up his sleeves and do the hard work. He has persevered alongside us through challenges, always bringing a great attitude, a wonderful sense of humor, and a steady commitment to the mission.

Marcel is a connector of people and a light in the room for the Kingdom. His impact extends beyond TTP through his service as a pastor in the local church, and we are grateful for the many ways God uses him to encourage, disciple, and bring people together.

And we can’t recognize Marcel without recognizing Diane! Diane serves faithfully in so many ways as a volunteer, supporter, and prayer warrior.

Marcel and Diane, thank you for your years of faithful service, your friendship, your prayers, and the Kingdom impact you continue to make. We are so grateful to call you part of the TTP family. We love you both!
