💛 Hope Starts With a Conversation. 💛

September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month, and this year, Honor Connor is focusing on something simple, but powerful: conversation.

A conversation can create connection.
A conversation can help someone feel seen.
A conversation can challenge stigma.
A conversation can remind someone they are not alone.

Throughout September, we’ll be sharing resources, education, practical ways to recognize warning signs, guidance on reaching out, and opportunities to come together as a community.

Because su***de prevention doesn’t begin with having all the right answers. Sometimes, it begins by simply being willing to start the conversation. 💛

Follow along with Honor Connor throughout Su***de Prevention Awareness Month as we shine a light on hope, connection, and the conversations that matter.

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month. Opening up about what we’re carrying isn’t always easy, but conversations save lives. Honor Connor founder and Connor’s dad, Scott Johnson, reminds us that breaking the stigma around mental health starts with being honest about what’s on our minds and in our hearts. Be you. You matter. 💙

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.💙

Too often, men are taught to stay strong, keep emotions in check, and suffer in silence. But healing begins when we make space for honest conversations.

In his recent blog, Honor Connor founder Scott Johnson shares how losing his son Connor to su***de led him on a journey through grief, guilt, and ultimately hope. As Scott writes, sharing his story became “a bridge” for others who needed to know they weren’t alone.🤝

This month, we encourage the men in our lives—and ourselves—to speak up, reach out, and remember that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.💪

⛳️ What an incredible day at the 6th Annual Honor Connor Golf Tournament!

First, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our presenting sponsor, The Brand Partners. Their continued support and partnership help make this event possible year after year. 🙌🏻

Because of our amazing sponsors, golfers, volunteers, donors, and supporters, this year’s tournament was our most successful yet, raising an incredible $215,000, with $143,000 directly benefiting Honor Connor’s programs and initiatives.🏆

The impact of your support is already being felt through our growing Hold Onto Hope programs, expanded support opportunities, and online community that continues to connect people with hope, healing, and understanding.🫶🏻

From our family to yours, thank you for showing up, believing in our mission, and helping us continue Connor’s legacy in such a meaningful way.

We are so grateful for this incredible community. 💙

This Memorial Day weekend, we’re holding close the veterans and service members — those we love, those we miss, and those whose struggles continued long after their service ended.

Many who serve carry burdens that aren’t always visible. Beneath the strength and sacrifice can be pain, trauma, loneliness, and exhaustion carried quietly for far too long.

If someone you love served our country and later died by su***de, please know we are remembering them with you this weekend.

Their life mattered.
Their service mattered.
And the love you carry for them matters too. ❤️

If you or someone you know has lost someone to su***de please join one of our upcoming Hold Onto Hope sessions. Register at the link below 👇

What does being kind to your mind actually look like?

Not the highlight reel version—
the real version.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re talking about:
✨ Making space for your thoughts
✨ Letting yourself feel without judgment
✨ Knowing when to reach for support

Because you were never meant to carry it all alone 💛

If you need a place to start, Lisa’s latest reflection is a powerful reminder- read her blog and find other resources with the link below 👇

🏀✨ And that’s a wrap on our March Madness: Bracket for Hope! ✨🏀

A huge congratulations to our Top 3 winners—and especially to our first-place champion, who is walking away with an incredible $5,366 prize!! 🙌

Because of YOUR support, that also means $5,366 is going directly to Honor Connor to help fuel our Hold Onto Hope grief support program 💛

Every bracket filled out, every donation made, and every share helped us slam dunk stigma and bring hope to those navigating su***de loss.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for showing up, cheering loud, and making a real impact.

This is a Biblical promise offering comfort that God is intimately present with those experiencing deep grief, sorrow, or despair. It highlights that God does not abandon the hurting but offers closeness and healing to the contrite and discouraged. Our prayer at Honor Connor is that you personally experience Gods comfort and hope today. 🙏🏼.
