The SUFP Foundation supports pit bull "type" dog rescues around the country, educational programs and continues to help other dedicated groups in the animal community as well as individuals in need of help with high medical needs dogs. We stand against and do not tolerate reckless and irresponsible hate speech against our inherently good dogs and work tirelessly at ending fear based ignorance. We believe what is happening to pit bull "type" dogs is not just an animal issue but rather a direct reflection of a broken society thus making it EVERYONE’s problem. The Stand Up For Pits Foundation are members of the animal community but we are members of society as well and ending animal abuse will make communities safer for humans and pets.

Todd has a brain tumor.

It is my job, responsibility and obligation to provide love, care and compassion for Todd and all like him. To provide quality of life, dignity and respect. Ten years ago I fought for Todd's life when all others tried desperately to kill him. Todd overcame all the odds, is the sole survivor of unimaginable evil and his life and story has inspired people all over world. Todd has shown people dogfighting victims are not the ones who are dangerous - humans are. For ten years Todd has loved every human, bird, squirrel, dog, cat and insect who has ever had the priviledge of being in his presence. His gentle spirit and inherent goodness could not be broken and he changed the way people think and see these dogs without ever saying a word. His beautiful face has become the face of the and Todd and Sally's story and love for one another has inspired merchandise a feature film and has helped raise funds which have saved countless lives.

The details of this horrific, unexpected and unfair nightmare are not important and they do not define Todd. Who and what he is are much bigger than what is happening to him. Decisions are being made based on information and what is best for Todd will be done. Everything is being considered and handled with absolute care and love.

We have another Dianne Bedford abuse victim at our hospital and we are trying to save his life. We need emergency funding for all his diagnostics, medical boarding and urgent care. He has two HUGE masses hanging from his neck our doctor said "I have never seen anything like" and tumors all over his body. His ears are deeppy infected and painful and his a**s is massively inflamed. We are awaiting xray results, blood, f***l and the aspirate results from all the masses. This poor precious soul has known NOTHING but suffering and is believed to only be 5 years old. 5 years of suffering. It's enraging and sickening and we have to save him. The last Dianne Bedford victim (paralyzed German Shepherd) who was found at the same hoarding property in Nevada along with over 40 other Bedford dogs (including Ferguson) died. We tried saving him but he couldn't recover from the hell his body endured. Lets fight for Ferguson's life. Please donate if you can and an IMMEDIATE FOSTER IS NEEDED by this weekend. Dianne Bedford is responsible for the deaths, abuse and abandonment of countless dogs. The surviving dogs from the Nevada property are now in a shelter. The dogs she abandoned at .plus.paws still need homes and nearly 100 dogs were killed who were pulled from her Pinion Hills property and yet this story gets ZERO media attention. A Beverly Hills nurse responsible for unthinkable abuse and the deaths of innocent dogs needs to be national news. Kennels and vets are owed thousands of dollars for the bills and dogs she left them. The Stand Up For Pits Foundation, Inc is owed nearly $20,000.00 for Dianne Bedford victims and yet she has the money for a big law firm while she unabashedly continues harming animals. This should be front page national news with this headline - "BEVERLY HILLS NURSE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEAD, MISSING AND ABUSED DOGS."

Todd and his soulmate Sally have been featured on The Dodo several times. Their story is as unique and special as they are. What an honor to get to love these two perfect souls who overcame every odd and unthinkable abuse at the hands of humans. While people say "it how you raise them" that's not completely true. Almost every pit bull type the Stand Up For Pits Foundation, Inc has helped and saved over the past 16 years - thousands upon thousands - they have all endured horrific abuse in one way or another and every single one of them loved humans unconditionally. Sadly, some cannot overcome the evils of humanity but almost all do. They are born inherently good and they have the capqcity to love and forgive far greater than any human. Dogs are not the "dangerous" and "unpredictable" ones - HUMANS are. And when dogs react in a way perceived as "negative" by humans they are rarely ever given grace or understanding as to why. Instead they are blamed, vilified, banned, discriminated against and killed while the two legged monsters at the end of the leash responsible for their pain and suffering are never held accountable.

Those who wrongly vilify voiceless victims, abuse, torture and kill these dogs are far more dangerous than any dog of any kind could ever be.

10 years ago Todd and who is believed to be his mom, Lucille were rescued by the Stand Up For Pits Foundation, Inc. Nine lives in total were removed from this house of horrors. The only two survivors - Todd & Lucille. The rest were killed. Lucille had been bred multiple times. Her little body was broken and battered. Her ears ripped and ni***es hanging. They lived in what they called a "dungeon" under the house. After funding nearly 30k of medical care for Lucille, her body could not overcome the hell she had endured. Lucille died of Babesia Gibsoni - a blood disease common amongst dogfighting victims. A tragic and devastating loss of life. She never got to experience freedom but we made sure Lucille felt love.

Dogfighting is an epidemic in America. It is being done by people of all ages, ethnities and in all tax brackets. It is one of the most horrific forms of cruelty and where there is dogfighting there is always other crime. The dogs are not the dangerous ones, the humans are. These dogs have been brutally victimized and wrongly vilified for decades while the humans commiting these heinous acts of violence continue to get away with it.

Todd is the sole survivor. He is one of the lucky ones. The vast majority are not so lucky. Today we will celebrate his beautiful life by sharing all things Todd. For the past ten years Todd has shown the world the inherent goodnesss he and all like him are born with. He has inspired, educated, brought joy and light into the lives of everyone he meets and knows him without ever saying a word. He is one of one. A magical miracle and precious soul we are all so lucky to share the planet with. He loves all animals, all of humanity and could not be cuter if he tried.

Todd has cancer and now at 11 years old, is struggling with some cognitive and mobility issues. Every day and every moment with Todd is a gift. He is loved, protected, adored and cherished.

Lets all celebrate the beautiful life that is Todd on this - his gotchya day. 🖤
