Ready for something different to do with your Memorial Day weekend? California Men's Gatherings is hosting its 110th getaway-to-camp weekend from Fri May 23 - Mon May 26 near Idyllwild (between San Diego and Palm Springs. A few times each year since 1978, we take over a kids camp and make it a terrific GBT men's event for personal growth, building community, laughing together, and especially making friends (some of the best of my life from CMG).
The group tends to skew 50+, but anyone over 18 who self-identifies as a man is very welcome! Read the invitation letter with all the details, found on www.TheCMG.org/spring . Fully inclusive cost for all camp housing, meals, and activities. Tenters encouraged, too!
Be in our talent show? Give or take workshops? Dance? Late night cards and board games? So much more to say in the invitation letter.

Dear friends, we are saddened to inform you that our place in Altadena has burned down and everything is gone. Our neighbors and friends around us have also lost their places. We have lost a truly loving and kind community, where Mike and I moved in together, where we had our wedding celebration, and where we built a life together. We are still traveling abroad and will be returning on MLK Monday. We will be staying with Mike’s mom when we return. Hugs to everyone who is still awaiting word on their homes. Vic and Mike

It may feel soon to pencil in something for Memorial Day, but it'll be here before ya know it! Plan on joining 60-100 GBT men at this great retreat in the SoCal mountains, staying in the camp's bunkhouses or your tent, and participating in great workshops, enjoying the talent show, dancing to 60s-90s music and more. Attendance typically skews to the 40+ crowd, but all men over 18 are welcome! ..
