Seniors Job Bank (SJB) connects people over 50 looking for part-time, full-time, and temporary work with businesses, organizations, and households seeking workers. SJB is a free service that contributes to the physical, emotional, and financial well-being of its service providers and the general economic advancement of

the Greater Hartford area. Seniors Job Bank is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. We are managed by an Executive Director and a volunteer board of directors, as well as volunteers who meet and screen job seekers. We connect employers in businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities as well as individuals with hardworking and reliable service providers.

For 52 years, the Seniors Job Bank has connected people over 50 who want or need to work with businesses, homeowners, and other employers that value their experience. Supported by donations and philanthropic grants, SJB charges no fees - to job seekers or employers - for helping them find one another.

Now, during the Travelers Championship Birdies for Charity program, is the perfect time to support the Seniors Job Bank. Donations made through Birdies for Charity receive a 15% bonus provided by Webster Bank and Aetna. And an exceptionally generous individual benefactor will match gifts up to $10,000!
