Food is love. Food is connection. But what happens when we are separated from the food that we eat or that our ancestors ate? Are any of us eating the food our bodies need when it comes out of boxes or wrapped in plastic? Can you imagine living on and knowing this land for thousands of years then being separated from it and the food it provides?

Please join us!! We are looking forward to attending the film screening of Gather, exploring the reclamation of Indigenous foodways at West Hartford Libraries Noah Webster Library.

Wow, what a lovely day we had this past Friday at the Fall Community Farm Share Event. We are beyond grateful to all of the farmers, educators, artists, community members and families that came out to support and celebrate our connection with food and the people who love and take care of the land.

With your support and donations, we were also able to meet the needs of some families in our community who struggle with access to fresh, locally grown veggies and fruits. We hope to be able to do this all again with your continued support!

We believe that as a collective, we can create a more just and sustainable local food system.

There are really good things happening across CT - connecting kids to local food, their own hands-on experiences in the school garden and classrooms and family and community collaboration. Wouldn’t it be great if we could do this here in West Hartford?
