Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt - Saturday, August 29 at 10am

On Saturday, August 29, at 10 am there will be an Invasive Species Scavenger Hunt led by Ellie Appleseed at the Rattlesnake Preserve, offering two $50 gift card prizes. Designed for landowners and families, this fun and educational program will help participants learn to identify plants that threaten native habitats and explore ways to manage them.

This is a joint program of the Cornwall Conservation Trust and the Cornwall Conservation Commission. All are welcome. Please park near the viewing platform at the south end of Rattlesnake Road, and remember to be tick-savvy.

Rain date: Sunday, August 30 at 11am.

Hi Folks!

We have exciting news for you all! Grumbling Gryphons will be a featured act at the fabulous Black Bear Americana Music Festival this coming Saturday, August 15th at the Harwinton Fairgrounds in Harwinton, CT. There will be a pre-performance drama workshop for kids & families 5 and up at 10 am, leading into the performance of one our most popular shows-Anansi-The Trickster Spider: A West African folktale. We go on at 11:00 am at The Workshop Stage! Come join us and have FUN with your whole family taking part! Be a lion, monkey, elephant , bumble bee and more!

Parade with us on Friday! (and get a free pass!)

This coming Friday, at around 6 pm Grumbling Gryphons will parade through the Harwinton Fairgrounds in costume. We need a few more people to join our merry costume parade! If you want to help out by being in the parade & receive a free pass to the wonderful line up of music on Friday late afternoon / evening, call or text me - Leslie Elias -Artistic Director at 860-248-9997 .
