First Day of Paramedic School!

Today is a big day for FF Chris Sambolin and FF Kassy Loberger as they begin their journey through paramedic school!

Paramedics play a critical role in our community, providing advanced emergency medical care when our citizens need it most. We are proud to have a strong EMS system here at the West Bend Fire Department, and investing in the education and training of our firefighters only makes that system stronger.

Chris and Kassy, we are excited to watch you take on this challenge and continue to grow as healthcare providers and firefighters. We know you will represent the West Bend Fire Department with pride!

🥾 Fill the Boot is coming back to West Bend! 🚒

Join West Bend Professional Firefighters Local 2025 on Saturday, August 22, from 7:30–11:00 AM at the West Bend Farmers Market as we Fill the Boot for the Muscular Dystrophy Association

Our firefighters will be collecting donations to support individuals and families living with neuromuscular diseases. Since 1954, Fill the Boot has brought firefighters and communities together to make a difference.

West Bend firefighters are golfing today in the Ozaukee Central Fire Department outing at The Bog.

Firefighters and fire chiefs from several Washington County fire departments were in attendance at the Washington County, Wisconsin board meeting this evening. The topic of discussion was a tax levy to ease economic pressures on the municipalities that provide pre-hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS). Fire departments represented at the meeting included Richfield Fire Department, Slinger Fire Department, Kewaskum Fire Department, West Bend Fire Department, Hartford Fire & Rescue Wisconsin, and Germantown Wisconsin Fire Department.
