McParents ~ McParents~

As a new parent or a returning parent to McLane School, we would like to welcome and introduce you to our parent group, McParents!

McParents conducts a regular business meeting one Tuesday each school month in McLane's second floor media center (school library), at 6:30 p.m. We are always happy to see new faces and welcome new input and ideas. Come join us!

Thank you to everyone that hosted a trunk and everyone that came out! We were able to raise a a little over $1,300 for the fundraiser!

For our trunk hosts, we put all names into a random wheel generator and picked 6 names. Hopefully the video of the process comes through! Congratulations to our winners! You should be contacted by the office to confirm you are ok with your kids participating! A big Thank You also to Mrs. Hyde for offering the prizes!

We had a great Trunk or Treat fundraiser tonight! Thank you to everyone who decorated a trunk (or trailer!) and to all the families who came out!
Congratulations to our top three winners: the haunted trailer, the farmyard (with live animals!) and the creepy verity maze.
Please share your pictures!

Trunk or Treat at McLane! We have some great trunks and costumes!

10/22/2026

Trunk or Treat is coming up quick this Friday. We are currently at 23 trunks (with some fun surprises!) and we have about 200 kids signed up!

10/19/2026

We would love to have more trunks for this Friday's Trunk or Treat Event! There's still time to sign up to host a trunk, and we'll continue accepting sign-ups right up until Friday. We'd love to fill the parking log with lots of fun, creativity and candy for our students!

A little friendly competition makes it even more fun! The top three trunks, as voted on by our Trunk or Treaters, will each receive a Kwik Trip gift card! Plus, every family who hosts a trunk will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win one of several special school experiences with Mrs. Hyde, including helping with morning or afternoon announcements or being a guest star on the McLane Minutes! Several names will be drawn.

Hosting a trunk is a great way to make this event extra special for our students and help support the school. We hope you'll consider joining in the fun!
