I saw them walking .... together.
Hand-in-hand feet shuffling.
One close to 90 years of age wrinkled with time.
The other in her late 50's strong...clutching pocketbooks for two
Hand-in-hand they made their way.

A gentle comfortable grace between them
Determined to face this day together.
The fierce wind blows the wrinkled one's hat
and the strong one reaches to pat it lovingly, firmly into place.
A brief smile and a shared twinkle in their eyes.

Ann has generously offered to, once again, create beautiful, handcrafted duffels and totes for our 2026 holiday season but WE COULD USE YOUR HELP!! Not only do they provide wrapping for our gifts but a place for treasured items to be stored by our children in foster care. We are collecting fabric for these items so please consider donating to this incredible project.
