Bardot’s heart has been broken more than once. We’re determined to change that. 💔
Bardot spent a long time in foster care learning that life could be safe, warm, and full of love before making her way to Catfe. It took her a little while to find her confidence, but one thing was always clear—she has the sweetest soul. She gets along wonderfully with other cats and quietly wins over everyone who takes the time to know her.
Then came the day we thought all her dreams had come true. Bardot was adopted into what we believed would be her forever home.
A few months later, she came back.
Her crime? Being too affectionate at night.
Bardot is the kind of cat who trills softly while she purrs, who wants to be near her people, who loves with her whole heart. For that, she lost the home she thought was hers forever.
Back at Catfe, she puts on a brave face. She can seem timid to visitors, but we know the real Bardot. We know the playful, confident, loving girl she becomes once she feels safe. We know how desperately she wants a family of her own.
Every day, we remind her that not all humans leave. Every day, we promise her that her forever family is still out there.
Now we need that family to find her.
Bardot doesn’t need another temporary stop. She doesn’t need another goodbye. She deserves a home where she’ll be cherished, spoiled rotten, and loved exactly as she is—for the rest of her life.
