Pike County Help Me Grow

Today is ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Awareness day! Currently 1 in 31 children in the US will be identified as having ASD by the age of 8 years.
At Help Me Grow, we connect families with valuable community resources, make referrals for and coordinate therapies, and support parents who have children that maybe at risk for/with special needs-including ASD. We also coordinate preschool referrals as part of the family’s transition from help me grow services.
The Pike County Board of DD is committed to ensuring all people have the best quality of life-and this begins during childhood. See a parent testament below❤️

“Early Intervention/Help Me Grow has helped me learn how to best help my son meet his goals and learn new things. Having the different therapies at home for him has helped him progress in different ways. I’m most thankful for how they teach me things to best support him.”

Through guidance and referrals, Help Me Grow empowers families to ensure their children have the best possible start in life.
The program helps identify developmental delays early and provides access to screenings, early intervention and community support.
We appreciate the Help Me Grow staff and all their hard work!

Pike County Board of Developmental Disabilities houses the Help Me Grow program for our county.

In Pike county, we hold the Early Intervention/Part C grant and the Home Visiting grant. These two programs are separate and unique. See the second photo for some key differences and similarities!

Help Me Grow in Waverly has organic toddler Milk Drink Powder. It was donated to us. It’s free for anyone who needs it , first come first serve. Expires March 27, 2026. Our address is 210 E second st.
