💚 Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dolores Huerta, a trailblazing labor leader, civil rights activist, and lifelong advocate for justice and equality.

As co-founder of the United Farm Workers, Dolores dedicated her life to standing up for farmworkers, families, and communities whose voices deserved to be heard.

Her words, “Sí, se puede,” continue to inspire generations and remind us of the power of coming together to create meaningful change.

Our hearts are with her family and all those whose lives she touched. Her legacy will live on. 💚

Huerta co-founded the United Farm Workers union to improve working conditions in the nation's fruit and vegetable fields and coined the phrase "Sí, se puede!" that became a widespread rallying cry.

With a strong El Niño expected this winter, it's important for our communities to stay informed and prepared for potential severe weather.

The County of Monterey, in partnership with the National Weather Service and local agencies, recently shared a presentation discussing what to expect this winter and how the county is preparing.

Community Bridges joined community leaders, healthcare advocates, and local orgs at Watsonville Community Hospital for an event highlighting Measure E and the future of our local safety net.

We were grateful to be part of the conversation, share our perspective on the importance of protecting essential community services, and connect with others who care about the health and well-being of our neighbors.
