The 2026 Summer Learning Challenge is here! The Summer Learning Challenge engages youth, families and adults by challenging them to read, explore new activities and learn new skills all summer long.
Visit any Redwood City Public Library location to sign up in-person or sign up online. Log 20 minutes of reading or listening each day and each time you try a new activity this summer. Just for registering, all participants can pick up a free book at their library. Kids and teens that complete the challenge will be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship and other fun weekly prizes.
