El Festival de Cine de Watsonville es una organización cultural sin fines de lucro que desde 2012 presenta películas y facilita conversaciones para unir a la comunidad y fomentar la creatividad, la justicia social y el cambio positivo. Our mission is to share Latinx stories and transform our community through film. We believe that stories matter and film is a catalyst to connect people, spark con

versations and transform communities. Our goal is not only to inform and entertain our audiences but to inspire them and spark action. By putting the spotlight on Latinx filmmakers who tell new or overlooked stories, by inviting underrepresented voices to share their creativity, we are weaving a new and vibrant tapestry of what our world really looks like. Empowering our community to tell our own stories and elevating those narratives is something we are truly proud of.

We are deeply grateful to Classic Memories Car Club for their generous donation to the Watsonville Film Festival. We are honored to welcome them as the very first Padrinos y Madrinas of our Quinceañera celebration in 2027! 👑✨

Our Comadres and Compadres at have been valued partners in our work, including the co-creation of “More Than Cars: Celebrating Lowrider Culture,” a four-month exhibition at Pajaro Valley Arts that celebrated the history, artistry, and enduring impact of lowrider culture and the families who have helped shape our community. ✊🏽⛓️🛞

Together, we have worked to preserve, uplift, and share stories that deserve to be recognized, celebrated, and passed on to future generations.

Thank you for your friendship, leadership, and continued support. We couldn’t imagine beginning our Quinceañera celebration with a better first set of Padrinos y Madrinas! 💚
