Parents Helping Parents

Parents Helping Parents Empowering parents to nurture their children and give them hope to build stronger families.

Parents Helping Parents is a 40 year young non-profit that provides free parenting support services to parents and caregivers struggling to raise their children. Parents Helping Parents (PHP) recognizes that while parenting can be overwhelming and isolating, it can also be one of the most rewarding and satisfying life experiences. When a parent feels stressed and overburdened, they become less abl

e to provide for their child. At PHP, our goal is to be there for parents when they need extra support; we believe that positive change is always possible. We accomplish this with two services: the Parental Stress Line, and our network of statewide Parent Support Groups.

Parenting can feel especially heavy when you’re doing it on your own.

Making every decision, carrying the responsibility, holding it together—day after day.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of that lately, it makes sense.

You don’t have to be the only one holding it.

The Parent Stress Line is here to listen—without judgment, without pressure.

With Father's Day approaching, we're taking time to celebrate the fathers and father figures in our community.

Fathers need support, too. That's why we offer a free, weekly Fathers Support Group where dads can connect, share experiences, and support one another. One dad in our Father's Support Group shared:

"Seeing what other fathers go through helps a lot. Even though I'm not going through it currently, I can have a plan for the future, which is a peaceful, reassuring thought."

Join a supportive community of dads sharing strategies for parenting– a safe, non-judgmental space to connect, learn, and navigate the challenges of fatherhood together.
