It was a pleasure to join so many Hellenic and Philhellenic friends of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Boston in welcoming The Honorable Eleni Porichi, the newly appointed Consul General at Consulate General of Greece in Boston

Congratulations and our warmest wishes to Consul General Porichi as she begins this important role. May her tenure be filled with great success, meaningful partnerships, and continued strengthening of the bonds between Greece and our Hellenic community here in Boston.

It was also a pleasure meeting members of the Hellenic Women's Benevolent Association, reconnecting with members of the Alpha Omega Council and seeing friends from the Metropolis of Boston Philoptochos Society

A wonderful afternoon surrounded by friends who share a love for our Hellenic heritage, faith, philanthropy, and community.

Greeks worldwide stand united in pride to honor OXI Day! 🇬🇷

On October 28th, 1940, a single, powerful word—"OXI" (NO)— to Italy and its dictator Benito Mussolini, echoed across Greece. Greece and its warriors emphatically refused to surrender and proved that the spirit of freedom can never be conquered.

Our ancestors faced overwhelming odds with fierce bravery, changing the course of history and showing the world what Philotimo and courage truly mean.

No matter where we are in the world today, the Hellenic pride of our blue and white flies proud. We remember, we honor, and we carry the legacy forward.

Ζήτω η Ελλάς! Χρόνια Πολλά!
