Happy Mother’s Day! When we think of moms, we think of strength, resilience, and boundless love. This Mother’s Day, we honor a remarkable mom who migrated from Venezuela to Colombia for a better life, only to face unimaginable challenges. Despite the odds, she’s a beacon of inspiration, caring for her children alone, three of whom have a genetic disorder causing blindness. To all mothers, thank you for your unwavering dedication and endless love. You are our heroes. 💖

At VENtanas, we believe in holistic community development, focusing on empowering children through various impactful programs that address their physical, mental, and social well-being. Our initiatives span across sports, water + food access, and music, creating a positive ripple effect in the lives of Villa del Sur's youth.

These programs collectively create a profound impact on the children of Villa del Sur. They not only receive essential nourishment but also gain valuable life skills, access to opportunities for artistic and athletic expression, and a sense of belonging within a supportive community environment. VENtanas remains committed to empowering the next generation, building a brighter future where every child can thrive.

A Magical night at the Ventanas fundraising event at La Fábrica Central Restaurant Dennis A. Benzan, we are grateful for your generosity!
The high energy, the setting, the music, the food, the vibes and joy of likeminded people was sublime.

Not only were we sold out, but VENtanas main goal was accomplished! Our main goal was to raise the funds to expand our three programs, rugby, music and soccer. They assist in keeping refugee children and adolescents from partaking in streets activities; as well as to continue to empower families to rise!

Soon we will open the doors to more children who wish to be part of the VENtanas family, where they find a transformative space every afternoon, a space to retake their childhood, feel valued and recognized while learning responsibility.

Our gratitude to all of you who attended, donated, sponsored this beautiful life changing cause. To our volunteers, we bow.

By changing the life of a child, no matter how big or small the act of kindness, we are uplifting humanity
