Join us for Picnic in the Park this summer! ☀️🌳

Every Tuesday in June and July, we’ll be gathering at Washington Park from 12–1 PM for a laid-back time of conversation, connection, and community building.

JUNE - NATIONAL SAFETY MONTH
Na􀆟onal Calander Day.
Each week throughout June Na􀆟onal Safety Month
gives us an opportunity to make a difference in your home,
work, and community by reinforcing the importance of
safety.
Iden􀆟fying risks around the home or improving safety
standards at home and in your community protects
everyone. Whether we increase first aid and emergency
awareness through drills, or provide water safety 􀆟ps for
summer recrea􀆟on, we're taking steps to provide a safer
neighborhood.
Prac􀆟cing safety in every situa􀆟on reduces accidents
and injury. Crea􀆟ng a safe environment reduces stress and
anxiety by providing a sense of security. A person's quality
of life increases when we protect ourselves from danger.
Get involved!
 Report repairs as they are needed.
 Hold drills at home to help children know what to
do in the event of a fire, tornado, medical event,
another natural disaster.
 Volunteer to par􀆟cipate in community emergency
preparedness events.

 Put together a first aid kit.
 Take a CPR class.
 Teach someone to change a 􀆟re properly and safely.
 Learn about proper storage and disposal of medica􀆟ons.
 Take a defensive driving course.
 Learn how to iden􀆟fy fall hazards in a home.
Visit the Na􀆟onal Safety Council website for 􀆟ps and resources and use
􀆟onalSafetyMonth to share on social media.
