Summer vacation is here for many Vermont students! During summer vacation lets remeber some brain safety tips.
1)Wear a Helmet - ALWAYS wear a helmet when riding any bike, including E-Bikes, ATV's, skateboards, rollerblades, etc.
2)Prioritize Rest - Summer can be a time of late bedtimes for both kiddos and parents. Aim for 7 to 8 hours of sleep per night. Sleep is critical for consolidating memories and clearing cellular debris from the brain
3)Limit Screen Time - Summer time can lead to long hours of screen time. Remeber to take a break, a walk outside, swim, chat with friends, play board games or cards, go fishing, etc.
