Is this your home? 🏡 We are currently accepting applications for our final homeowner in Northfield!

How to Apply:

1. Complete and submit Downstreet and CVHFH's joint shared equity and homeownership application.

2. Downstreet and CVHFH will review and verify all the information in the the application.

3. CVHFH will conduct a home visit at the applicant's current residence to verify the need of better housing.

4. Applicants will be notified regularly about the status of their application, and will be contacted if additional information is needed.

5. The selected Partner Homeowner will be notified that they were selected.

🥣💙 Thank you, Northfield!

More than 100 people joined us for the Empty Bowl Soup Luncheon on October 17 to support Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity!

A huge thank-you to the United Church of Northfield, the local artists and potters who contributed handmade bowls and trays, everyone who helped prepare and serve the delicious soups, stews, chowders, bread, and desserts, and everyone who came out to support our mission.

Your generosity helps fund the construction of our Northfield triplex, creating three affordable homeownership opportunities for local families.

Thank you for helping us build homes, community, and hope! 🏡

Northfield, meet your neighbors!

“The ability to own our home is something we have strived for years. With hard work we have been able to make this dream a reality.”

We are a family of six who have lived in Northfield for ten years. Lee Jay and Alanna have four kids ranging in age from 1 yr to 16 years old. Ashton and Akira attend Northfield middle high school.

Ava has started preschool this year and little sister Mariana is busy making friends at daycare. We work here in town and during the winter months we spend most days working side by side with the theatre program at the school.
