The Lupus Foundation of America’s (LFA) Vermont Chapter was an all-volunteer organization with the mission dedicated to educating and supporting those affected by lupus, as well as to help find a cure.
In view of the recent retirement of several key board members and unsuccessful attempts at reorganization of our local chapter, I regret to inform you that the LFA’s Vermont Chapter will be closing its doors on September 30, 2015. Due to this closing we will not be holding our Annual Walk fund raising event.
We have had many wonderful years as a Chapter and were able to assist with helping people to cope with this mysterious disease. It is unfortunate that we will no longer be here to help, but we encourage you, and those you know who are affected by lupus, to reach out to the national LFA chapter office for the latest news and research information.

One common bond we all share is the hope for a cure. Thank you all for your participation in the Chapter.
We are devoted to solving the mystery of lupus, one of the world’s cruelest, most unpredictable, and devastating diseases, while giving caring support to those who suffer from its brutal impact.
