What an amazing weekend in Washington DC. Friday we went to Capitol Hill with families from 40 states and visited our Senators and Representatives. Saturday, as the noreaster rolled in, we ignored the wind and raindrops (deciding they we God's tears for our lost loved ones), and took our Walk for Lives around the Washington monument. It was beautiful and invigorating. Zaira Batchelder was inspired to work harder raising awareness and support for our mission to save the next family from experiencing our grief. The Barre City Police Department said the owner of an AirBNB on Railroad Street called on Saturday night to report that they had found suspected drugs left at the residence by a renter who had checked out early.
