💊Changes are coming to Medicaid – also known as Medical Assistance – starting January 1, 2027!

📅Renewing Every Six Months: Some adults ages 19-64 will need to have their eligibility checked by completing a renewal every six months instead of every year.

👷New Work Requirements: Some adults ages 19-64 (who do not have a child under age 14) must show that they are meeting work requirements OR that they are exempt from work requirements. This will be reviewed during application and renewals.

In collaboration with the Canonsburg Police Department, we are hosting National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 24th from 10am-2pm at Canonsburg Shop n Save!

💊💊Bring out your expired/unwanted/unused medications and the CPD will dispose them safely. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 24th.

FREE Narcan, Deterra, and other harm reduction supplies!!

💜 SAVE A LIFE DAY 2026 💜

What started in 2020 with just 2 West Virginia counties and 2,100 doses of Narcan has grown into a nationwide movement!

In 2025, communities across all 50 states distributed approximately 133,000 doses in a single day. 🙌

This year, WDAC is proud to be part of Save a Life Day with SIX locations throughout Washington County, from Avella to California! 📍

Our goal? Distribute every dose of Narcan we’ve been provided! 💜

We’ll also have:
💜 Narcan (naloxone)
💜 Deterra drug deactivation systems
💜 Fentanyl testing strips
💜 Xylazine testing strips

Whether you're picking up supplies for yourself, your family, a friend, or your community — come see us! These resources can help prevent an overdose from becoming a tragedy.
