WeCare Street Outreach Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for kindness. WeCare is Washington's new street homeless outreach program.

Run entirely by volunteers, we provide social, medical, nutritional, and basic wellness help to our city's street population.

Guys, we are starting something a little different. We will be holding a free medical clinic at the WDAC Recovery Center (90w. Chestnut st, ground floor) from 1-4p, prior to street rounding. We are hoping to provide some expanded medical services at this location in the future (dental, vision, etc).

Next distribution date is Saturday, October 17 from 8:30-10:00 AM at Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church. Please share and help us spread word to our neighbors in need.

**Next outreach MONDAY Sept 21st.

The semi-annual point-in-time count will be this Wednesday, Sept23rd. We will be holding an abbreviated outreach on the afternoon of the 21st, with full evening outreach on the 23rd.

The point-in-time count is a snapshot of the number of unhoused individuals that is used in large part to help
direct resources and funding. If you are aware of anyone without housing- please message us so that we can try to make contact on Wed.

The following outreach will return in its normal format on Monday, October 5.

Important update for our community: City Mission’s Samaritan Care community food distribution will unfortunately be closed tomorrow, Thursday, September 17.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice and for any inconvenience this may cause. We know how important this resource is to individuals and families in our community.

Our team is working to reschedule the distribution as soon as possible so we can continue providing food to our neighbors in need. We’ll share updated information as soon as it is available.

Thank you for your understanding, and please help us spread the word.
