⭐ We’re excited to share the success of the 4th Annual 2026 Walk for a Child!

With grateful hearts, we thank our sponsors, donors, attendees, volunteers, advocates, and community supporters who showed up and showed out to help build brighter futures for children living in foster care. Your generosity, encouragement, and commitment made this year’s Walk for a Child a true celebration of hope.

We were thrilled to have 280 registered walkers, many joining us even in the rain. And somehow, the rain felt fitting.

The children we advocate for face “rainy days” all the time, circumstances beyond their control, and impossible choices. A CASA volunteer walks alongside them, offering an umbrella, hope, and a consistent presence through it all — not because they’re paid to, but because they care.

Because of this incredible community, we met the $10,000 matching challenge in the 24 hours surrounding the Walk, unlocking an additional $20,000 gift. Together, Walk for a Child raised approximately $75,000 in net proceeds.

❤️ That means 37 more children in our community can have the consistent support of a Court Appointed Special Advocate for an entire year.

Every sponsorship, donation, shared post, volunteer hour, and step taken made a difference. This is what happens when a community walks for children.

If you’d still like to support Walk for a Child, there is still time to donate at https://bit.ly/casawalk!

❤️ A special thank you to our incredible sponsors for helping make this event such a success. Your support helps ensure children who have experienced abuse and neglect have a dedicated advocate by their side.

We can’t wait to share more tomorrow about what we achieved together — but today, please join us in thanking these amazing sponsors for making this impact possible.

When our community walks, children are supported. And because of you, hope walks with them.

Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported, and seen.

Yet, 1 in 7 children in the United States experienced abuse or neglect in the past year.

Behind every statistic is a child who needs someone to step in, speak up, and stand beside them.

That’s the role of CASA volunteers — and it’s the heart behind Walk for a Child.

As we get closer to April 25th, this is your reminder that small actions can create real change. Showing up, walking, or supporting the cause helps ensure more children have a consistent, caring advocate in their corner.

Be part of the change. Join us for Walk for a Child.
