The LULAC National page was created as an informational resource for updates from the LULAC National Office on events and Latino policy priorities. Our members are passionate about the issues affecting their communities and states, and we encourage them to share their opinions on the page. To ensure respectful dialogue on this page, the following guidelines must be observed:

omments should be respectful. It is fine to disagree, but please do so in a way that does not resort to attacking another user or using inappropriate language
• Comments must be relevant to the post.
• Comments must refrain from spreading false information.
• Spam posts that are promoting products or services are prohibited.
• LULAC is a nonpartisan organization and comments should not contain campaign signage. It is fine to state support for a candidate’s policy on a certain issue, but the LULAC page cannot be used as a campaign tool. Comments will be removed if:
• They do not pertain to the post.
• They contain profanity, racial slurs, offensive content, and/or false statements.
• They promote commercial products or political candidates. New Jersey just filed a lawsuit against the GEO Group, the company running Delaney Hall. But this is not what the detainees or the protesters wanted. While the suit aims to take action on the alleged unsafe conditions and even a reported tuberculosis case, it's not what the detainees demanded. They want to meet with Gov. Mikie Sherrill herself.

El Grito Media Journalist Arleen stood outside Delaney Hall next to a prayer group led by Pax Christi NJ when all of a sudden yells to move fast.
