While it seems to offer expecting mothers with useful information, a closer look at this website gives away its real agenda: Moms.gov is administration’s latest effort to promote a pro-natalist, anti-abortion, and anti-contraception agenda that will do nothing to help those who need resources on pregnancy and reproductive health.

One health provider who works on the ground says that basic medical equipment like masks and hand sanitizers are in short supply due to funding cuts.

The Trump-Vance administration plans to divert $2 billion to cover costs associated with the shutdown of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). This is money that could have gone towards maternal and child health, tackling malaria and tuberculosis, and increasing international family planning.
