Gen Z is making its voice heard at the California State Capitol!

Last week, ZETA took an exciting step forward in our advocacy efforts, bringing our team of Gen Z researchers to Sacramento to meet with state policymakers and discuss the issues shaping our generation's future.

From AI and cybersecurity to energy and workforce development, we're working to ensure young people's perspectives are part of the conversations driving tech policy.

As California continues to shape policy nationwide, we're excited to expand our advocacy efforts and create more opportunities for Gen Z to have a seat at the table.

And we're just getting started!

A coalition of civil society groups are coming together to organize a virtual webinar and in-person events, and we will learn how we can protect ourselves and loved ones from online scams and hold the companies to account.

This Wednesday, we’re wrapping up Season 2 of Tech Pathways: Stories Behind the Screens with an incredible final guest: Nagela Nukuna.

From Google and Netflix to the U.S. Digital Service and the White House, Nagela has built a career at the intersection of technology, public service, and policy. Today, she’s bringing that experience to AI and education at The College Board.

In our Season 2 finale, we talk about her journey as the daughter of Cameroonian immigrants, navigating the public and private sectors, working on technology policy at the highest levels of government, and what responsible AI adoption could mean for the next generation of students.
