The Freedom 250�NATIONAL MEMORIAL DAY PARADE

The Freedom 250 National Memorial Day Parade presented by Boeing returns LIVE to Constitution Avenue this Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026 at 10:00 AM EDT, with special opening ceremonies and performances starting at 9:00 AM!

Hosting the 2026 National Memorial Day Parade television special are acclaimed actor and comedian Anthony Anderson and Emmy-winning host Tamron Hall, with special introductions from Matthew Broderick, Jessica Chastain, Kevin Costner, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Patricia Heaton, Norah O'Donnell, Nick Offerman, Dennis Quaid, Brooke Shields, Michael Strahan, Chris Pratt and more. Among the celebrity Grand Marshals joining this year's parade are famed actor and philanthropist Gary Sinise, Tony Award-winning actor Joe Mantegna, Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson East, 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductee Adam Vinatieri, Two-Time Super Bowl Champion Vince Wilfork, Golden Globe-Nominated Actor Lou Diamond Phillips, Celebrity Chef and Military Advocate Robert Irvine, and Miss America 2026 Cassie Donegan. Very special musical performances will feature Pop Recording Icon Ryan Cabrera, "America's Got Talent" Finalist Drake Milligan, Multi-Platinum Country Music Artist Clay Walker, all performing alongside Max Impact, the premier rock band of the United States Air Force.

Good afternoon all please re-share so that if you have neighbors or friends or family that is being affected by this federal lockdown maybe the information here can assist also if you are renting check in your property management Leasing Office to see what provisions they have set up for furlough employees, some of the larger companies Have put things into place go in and speak to a manager and inquire.

Here is is a summary list of resources that are available for those who will need assistance!

Bank of America: announced assistance available to furloughed Federal employees. Call the priority assistance line 844.219.0690.

Chase Bank: Chase today announced efforts to help its customers who are U.S. government employees affected by the U.S. government shutdown. Here’s the special line they set up 1-888-356-0023.

Synchrony Bank: These guys handle store cards for Amazon, Lowes, Walmart, JCPenney, Chevron/Texaco, and many other large nationwide companies that you might do business with on a day-to-day basis. They are allowing affected customers to defer payments until after the shutdown. Contact them for more information.

Check with your bank, credit union, credit card company for their assistance offered.
