AFT Nurses and Health Professionals represents nearly 120,000 workers, including 84,000 RNs, who practice in a variety of professions and settings. While the majority of our members are Registered Nurses, the division also represents medical researchers, physicians, dieticians, psychologists, X-ray technicians, therapists and others. AFT Nurses and Health Professionals is currently the second-largest nurse union in the AFL-CIO.
