The consequences of federal decisions are hitting home, with changes to student loan programs making debt relief harder than ever. Meanwhile, alarming government actions threaten special needs education, civil rights, and even peaceful protest. This is a critical moment for our democracy.

But even in these dark times, AFT members are winning! We're securing fair pay for teachers, bargaining for better conditions, and ensuring safe staffing for healthcare workers. We won't stand by as our freedoms are undermined.
